Hang in there Harley. I don't have a response but I'm curious about the solution. George is due to return shortly.

I'm Bback but only for a few minutes and then I'm back out. I'm already a week overdue. GEODisk 2 is ready for upload if I get the chance I';ll do it today.
Totally new program and runs faster than a speeding bullet. Shuts down all processes within a couple of seconds and I do mean all. It even kills explorer and then retats it to dump any TSR's that may be loaded. Full scandisk and Defrag on a 40Gig drive is less than 4 minutes an a PIII 850. :-*

If it's that fast, we'll have to rename it ! Looking forward to try it, Bindar !!

I have 'end it all' for shutting down programmes to load new software, etc.. Is this a suitable substitute? Should I dump 'end it all'? What's the size of the programme?

Geodisk is 607KB zipped, approx 628KB unzipped. Although I have never used it it has been recommended by many. I don't believe it is used for shutting down apps before installing other apps, it is used to shutdown running processes before using scandisk or defrag that can interfere with them.
I'd say go ahead and give it a spin and keep EndItAll.
It can be obtained at:

I am having the same problem as Harley88 except my Error Code is :
Fatal Exception OD
016F:BFF7668C 8-)

I am new here but I did install GEODisk recently and it worked fine the 1st time.

I recently installed Unsolicited 98SE 2.0.1 Upgrade , think this might have something to do with this Error Code? :(

Can anyone answer the original poster Harley88's question and also mine ?
